In December, the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași (TUIASI) finalized the procurement contract for the equipment that will support the creation of the new Automotive Electronics Laboratory within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

The acquisition is carried out as part of the CrossComp 2.0 project, which aims to strengthen engineering education and enhance practical training through modern, industry‑aligned infrastructure. The new laboratory will provide students and researchers with access to contemporary tools used in automotive electronics, supporting both teaching and applied research activities.

This step reflects TUIASI’s ongoing commitment to upgrading its facilities and contributing to the development of advanced competencies in emerging technological fields.
