As part of the CrossComp 2.0 project, a three‑member delegation from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași (TUIASI) carried out a working visit to the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) in Chișinău, engaging in a series of coordination meetings dedicated to the activities planned for Period 1 of the project.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two partner institutions and to ensure a shared understanding of the project’s operational framework. During the working session, the teams reviewed the initial implementation steps, discussed the structure and sequencing of activities, and aligned on the methodologies to be used for monitoring progress and delivering results. Particular attention was given to the coordination mechanisms between the Romanian and Moldovan teams, the distribution of responsibilities, and the planning of upcoming milestones.

This meeting follows the official launch of CrossComp 2.0 on 19 June 2025, an event that marked the beginning of a new stage in cross‑border cooperation between TUIASI and UTM. The project aims to enhance competencies, promote innovation, and strengthen institutional collaboration across the region, contributing to a more competitive and interconnected academic and professional environment.

Throughout the discussions in Chișinău, both teams emphasized the importance of continuous communication, transparent reporting, and joint problem‑solving. The delegation from TUIASI and the hosts at UTM reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining an active partnership and to ensuring that the project’s objectives are met efficiently and sustainably.

The working visit represents an important step in consolidating the operational foundation of CrossComp 2.0 and sets the stage for the successful implementation of the activities planned for the upcoming months.
